Best exchange rate for Euro's

Right, I'm off on my hols on October 9th and want to get the best rate I can for Euro's.

Had a look at the Post Office (in the lead so far with a rate of 1.2168 for my hard earned British Pound), Barclays and HSBC so far can anyone recommend anywhere else?

Use a Nationwide Debit Card in an ATM at your destination - always better than anything you will get at home.

or

Order online at Travelex and collect at your port of embarkation - 1.223 today - do not use Travelex if you have not pre-ordered.


There are a couple of other places that you can order online but then you have to collect from London offices - not worth the bother in most cases.

I work for Halifax and when someone comes into branch to order Euro's, we always send them to M&S. Best place that I know of

Am I being a bit thick or does it fail to mention a rate? Best I have got so far is from www.currency-express.com slightly better than Travelex's online rate which was a good way better than M&S or any high street retailer.
