LCFC Official Statement
Posted on: Tue 29 Jun 2010

Leicester City Football Club has received a number of enquiries relating to the unfounded speculation that Alan Birchenall has recently been relieved of his role as Club Ambassador. This may be fuelled by the fact that the Birch will be 65 this August.

The club can confirm that these rumours are totally without substance; Alan Birchenall remains a valued member of the Leicester City staff.

The grass isn't "taking".

Rumour has it that it is in talks with the FA to become the next England Grass at Wembley, so far neither organization has commented.

Who is in charge at the moment in any case?
There are no players around at the moment but with Pearsoff taking his staff with him WHO is actually in temporary charge until we get a manager? It would have been Gerry but he was the first to leave the sinking ship so I presume we have Captain Bligh, sorry Milan Mandaric perhaps taking over the managers duties on top of his other duties no doubt with the help of Hoos, who we are told does all the dirty jobs.

There's not really a need for a manager until pre-season starts, is there? Nobody wants a caretaker manager making signings, surely.

Well done Central News for flashing up a picture of the wrong Walsh accompanying NP to Hull... I wouldnt have expected anything less.

Chris Powell, of course. According to the Foxes Trust he is the most important man in the club.
