pleased by the gk

suprised by the midfield

Eurgh I hate when it's done numerically.

Interested if it is a 4-3-3 with Gally Oakley and Wellens in the middle, Kamara and Vassell either side of the Yak or a 4-4-2 with Wellens and Oakley sitting deep, Gallagher and Vassell out wide with a front two of Kamara and Yakubu

Looks like it should be a 4-2-3-1 given by who's playing, especially given that King has been dropped while the more defensive minded Oakley and Wellens stay in the team.

I reckon they'll line up as:

Weale

Naughton - Bamba - Bruma - Van Aanholt

Oakley - Wellens

Vassell - Gallagher - Kamara

Yakubu

4-2-3-1 is basically 4-3-3 ;)

Yeah, but I really can't see Gallagher playing as an orthodox central midfielder. :icon_wink

I wouldn't be so sure King has picked up a knock btw. In the book I've recently finished on Sven's management, he says that one of his approached to management is to rotate the team a lot and occasionally leave key players on the bench to stop them being complacent/to put pressure on them to perform and show them they can't just walk into the team regardless of form.

Think it's 4-4-2.

Gally and Vassell out wide, with Yak and Kammy up top. They trained that way on Thursday. But King was in that midfield at the time

So King misses out and Oakley is captain in the first game since Oakley said he was giving him the armband!

Considering every loan player of Svens has walked into the team, I don't buy that :icon_lol:

it could work..... but continually puzzled by Oakley again.

does anybody support his continued inclusion.? :icon_conf

apart for Sven that is.

glad to see Weale back in ... i hope he has a good game.

0-2

yak and gallagher

Would be surprised to see Gally or Vassell dropped. I expect Abe to get the chop and a silly formation to fit in all 4 attackers. Maybe even with Gally playing in "King's role".

*cough cough*
