Very important poll this one, and not to be taken lightly.

How do you yourselves pronounce it;

David Bowie = As in Bow and Arrow

David Bowie = As in Bow Down Before Me

It's a problem that's spanned the decades, let's solve it now!!!

The reason I say it the way I do (second option) is because of how I say his son's name - Zowie.

Sounds too girly if you apply the first option principle, IMO :102:

I prefer to call him Duncan TBH :icon_wink
 
Second option - as in 'Bow Down'
 
I'm amazed that anybody could get this wrong, of course it's Bowie as in bow & arrow.

Surely only Americans could mangle it into Bowie as in bow down?
