Looking back at the highlights again that corner was well worked. The goalkeeper made a mistake but he wouldn't have done so if Soyuncu wasn't crowding him out. Hopefully with the extra time between matches we're actually going to improve our set piece routines instead of praying that we will make the top 4 without getting those numbers up.

Stowell was in charge of both offensive and defensive set pieces pre BR. It was widely reported.

Since BR came in, I've not seen anything about who runs them. But I think we can all agree that all our set pieces are now offensive.

Given that there is clearly nobody capable of organising them at the club it would be sensible to appoint someone to that specific role.

Steve Walford was the master. Since he left I cannot think of a time we were anything other than useless.
