Indeed it would. Along with "if you have the ball the other team can't score". There are players in the squad capable of far more than we are getting from them - there were signs of it in some of the early games. Maybe they need someone to remind them that football is a very simple game. They may not set the world on fire, but they should be capable of winning more than they lose.
