I'm guessing your codecs aren't up to date on the laptop.I have clip of a band which put onto dvd and it works fine. However when i try to play it on my laptop it says format not recognised. I have uploaded it to the laptop direct form the camera and it plays ok from windows media. Why wont the disc work on the laptop?
I have no idea, I just thought it sounded correct. And i how do i remedy that then fellah?
For some reason I always thought the k-lite pack was non-legal, don't know why.
the best bet, though it depends how it was encoded, is to grab the divx codec and xvid code, at www.divx.com and www.xvid.com respectively.
The K-Lite codec pack is the answer to all your playback woes.
