is it teachers that are currently in control of the stadium? I thought it was them holding up the whole affair, thought they wanted assurances that MM could not cut and run when in charge of the club. I would be interested to find out what the other bids were when all this is put to bed, how reliable is the source that dowie will take over once MM i appointed? could be a good or bad move would be nice to see dowies full career stats did he find johnson or was he already at palace when he took over?

He came to Palace as a makeweight in the deal that took Clinton Morrison to Brum. I believe the deal was done by Steve Bruce on Brum's side and Trevor Francis on Palace's.

Unfortunatley that is the only hard, cold fact that is available to be given from your post, the rest is open to debate/chinese whispers/conjecture*

Of course, I may have got that stat wrong and I expect to be fully pilloried by a statto on the forum.
