Well i bloody well can. Not that MA as been a roaring success at Cov. It was more the fact that amonsgt his threatening posts he stated that by getting rid of the manager we would go down the pan, and it would be our faults for hounding him out. Over 1 year on its hardly been a cosy ride, so was he right? and are we going down the same path as Man city did? They had about 10 managers in 10 years and slumped into the 3rd division amongst the constant turmoil and instability at the club. Will another change of manager solve anything( that would make it 5 in just over 5 years). Whatever, i'm fed up with Levein at the moment and week by week i'm becoming more disenchanted with life at city.
Chandler can't post here anymore but i bet he's got a big feckin grin all over his mush.
I was thinking exactly the same last night, Brauny, but at the end of the day what can you do, say nothing and get relegated just so we dont have to admit he may well have been right.
The truth is, the time was right for Adams to go, he wasnt delivering what he set out to achieve and TBH if a one shout of you dont know what your doing drives a manager away then we may as well all pack up, he was a broken man at LCFC, he had lost his spark, La Manga saw to that and if he was honest he probably knows he should have gone then for his own piece of mind.
As for Levein 5 wins in 25 games says it all, it is his team, the age has come down a lot, but put it in perspective it is nowhere near a team full of 17 year olds, it is clear to see that Levein has not got to grips with the football played in the championship and whether his personal circumstances are not helping, IMO he looks like a man who doesnt want to really be here. IMO his time has come to move on and admit that he wasnt ready to manage a club in the championship. But the decision must lie with the board.
The board have to be brave, sometimes that means sticking by a manager if they feel it is the right appointment regardless of supporter pressure, but it can also mean having the courage to admit they had made the wrong appointment in the first place and having to sack the guy they put their faith in.
We need the board to show it's mettle and either back or sack Levein, but it must be with a conviction that demonstrates they BELIEVE THEY are making the right decision for Leicester City FC. Now is not the time for shrinking violets.
