I know several people who could not afford Celtic and Inter matches so opted for Inter as it was cheaper!

Can you, or any other 'poster' with influence, ask/beg/implore Tim Davies to try and arrange another 'big' Walkers friendly?

Surely if Manure can go to Peterborough we can attract Chelsea or Arsenal or Barcelona or Real Madrid or somebody! Please?

I don't think it can be done as we start the season in less than 2 weeks (hurray!), bloody Italian girls, hope we sue them for millions. I hope they get some stick when they come over for the Champ league games...

Can't see this being practical & the club would still suffer the loss of costs already incurred, like programme printing as an example.

Originally we advised the club against holding 2 pre-season friendlies, as the foreign opposition available to us we didn't feel would attract fans & we felt the gate would be split over 2 games.

We were then contacted later about Inter Milan option & agreed they would attract fans & should go ahead

I think you'll find that as spokesman for The Brown Stripes we were not only the best team but as entertaining as a Richard Blackwood & Les Dennis charity fundraiser. And I find it amazing that Inter have been chosen above us. Not only that but we have been overlooked for the community day as well.

The lawyers are drawing up compensation claims as we speak.

Surely if they couldnt "afford" to go to both the celtic and inter matches they wouldnt be able to afford to go to another "big" friendly before the expense of going the seasons games?
