Can you tell me why Danny Baker has a radio show? It is beyond smug & dull.

Between him and the Bob Mills boreathon that follows it I've stopped bothering with 5live on a Saturday.

Someone tell me what the point of a Danny Baker is?

As for TV he was on very recently in the BBC4 programme about favourite albums and every guest he had on hardly got a word in edgeways.

Danny Baker's irritating, grating, somebody-has-plunged-a-****ing-dagger-into-my-ear cockney accent is actually an elaborate subterfuge. He is in actual fact a very softly spoken member of the aristocratic landed gentry. His only ambition in life has been to get onto the broadcast media so that he can annoy members of the lower classes and that is what he has been spending his family's money on for many years, paying radio stations to employ him.
If you think it through and do the sums, it's the only explanation that makes any logical sense

I like DB on the radio. He doesn't transfer to tv well but he's original and different to the usual tedious 'pretend opinions' on the radio.
