There are rumours on another forum that Canero is on his way back to Scotland. Every time he has played he has looked OK, but he would seem to be unfit all the time. :) ;)

He obviously doesnt fit into CL's plans and although he looks a decent player it makes sense to make room and free up additional funds by moving on a player who will not feature, I would imagine Heath and Wright will be following suit in the near future as well.

i personly think he's a good player, what if maybury get's injured we don't have much cover

Stearman is mayburys cover. Although it is possible/probable that the good form of stearman will push maybury to left back permanently next year.

What an awful thought. Maybury is not a left back, he does not play well in that position.

You take the High road, canero will take the low road, and he`ll be in Scotland afore ye !!

MB continues his teasing. I thought Canero was a good player but his face didnt fit full stop. He had a great performance at Brum Away.

p.s. I keep telling my Dad these MB tip-offs and he says my predictions have been accurate. Long may it continue with the Heath, Canero and 4 players coming in rumour.

I suspect Canero will be used as part of the payment for one of the "MB Gang of Four"

No great loss IMO. Just more dead wood gone

Must agree with homer, never really rated Canero. I probably saw him more than most as followed the ressies a bit last season, he offered little there either. The one thing you couldn't fault though was his attitude, first class even though he had been relegated to playing with a bunch of kids.:camera:

City report back for pre-season work on Friday and next week will see the schedule accelerate with manager Craig Levein still hopeful of bringing in another two or three new players in the next week or so. Departures may be needed to pave the way for that and Levein has revealed that he will listen to offers for Peter Canero, Matt Heath and Tommy Wright.
