Leicester City fans will be able to get their first taste of the upcoming season when the Carling Cup first round draw takes place on Friday, June 13.

The draw will be made at 10am.

The Foxes bowed out at the fourth round stage of the competition last season - going down 4-3 in a thrilling game to Chelsea in front of a near sell-out crowd at Stamford Bridge.

The draw will include teams from the Championship, League One and League Two.

The draw for the first round of the Johnston's Paint Trophy takes place in August.

The Carling cup was fantastic last season, two trips to the trees, smash and grab against the villa, and a night to remember at Chelsea followed by a night on the tiles.
