errr....sorry to start a new thread but does anybody know whats happened to the young lad chambers who made his first team debut a while back? thought he seemed very promising.

he played in the under 18s earlier today! and i think he scored a week or so back for them as well.

The boy is only 15/16 so give him time.
Max Gradel is scoring more than he is so i think he might be the next one to make the step up

i think he was 15 when he made his debut V Blackpool last year!

The hype he got in the Autumn of last year was surely a sign of how bad things were under CL and howdesperately we wanted a saviour.

i wondered say the hype was over nothing the boy was in the England youth setup and scored a hatrick on his under 17 debut.

I hope he carries on improving and gets in the first team in the few years!

Granted, he has potential, but nobody is crying out for him to be in the team now are they? I think we were just so sick of seeing MDV, Elvis and Hammond miss 50 chances in very game that he sounded like an option at the time.

i see what you are saying but i dont think any of us expected to make an impression really because he was so young. What i do think we wanted more than anything was for CL to take note we had some talented youth in chambers, porter, o grady, weso etc. because he just ignored them.

I never thought Chambers would be in the starting line up once, and i think the Blackpool appearence was a massive treat for him, even though i dont think he was ready even for that

Chambers is a very exciting talent, but he's only 16. Scored another couple for England U17s as they beat Portugal 4-0 the other day as well....
