Championship Manager Patches

Has anyone ever used one of these?

I have began downloading a patch for the 03/04 version and then adding another so everything is up to date.
Once its downloaded what do I do from there?

Computer cant take it.

I am updated as far as The Adams Championship which he was sacked in. Needless to say the defence is shocking. I have had to cut the wage bill tenfold.
