There isn't a lot of competition for Right Back with Canero injured although I wouldn't be surprised if CL plays Canero there when he is fit.Makin isn't shite he's just a 'bread & butter' player for me,very average.

I think Makin is a good defender, but of late he's passing hasn't been up to scratch giving the ball away too much, he is getting a better understanding with scowy now so hopefully he can turn things round....still prefer to see super Frank Sinclair in that position

I think he's a good full back. I used to live in sunderland and know how good he was he only left for Ipswich cos of a fall out with Reid yeah? He loves it but recently he aint been as consistant. But he's our best option, and Levein has a reputation of getting the best out of players, so hopefully we'll see the best of him and 10 others.

I thought he played reasonably well against Stoke, give him a chance its a new club and a lot of turmoil, now things have settled down I imagine we will start to see the best of him under Levein and if not I am sure he will be shown the door.
