Hi everyone i am new to this site and here is my first post......

I am still on the fence in the CL saga, and i think the signings he has made with the funds available have been ok IMO. Does he know what to do with them is another matter.
I think the Matty fryatt signing is the most exiting for years i just feel alot has bin put on his shoulders already.
my question to everyone is- Who do you think has proven to be CL best signing.
IMO Hughes has been the signing to prove himself most, but as i said Fryatt im sure will be a great signing and i hope he can bag us some goals ... because if he dosnt i fear the worst.:frown:

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!:

Patrick McCarthy - head and shoulders, although how much of a Levein signing this was I'm not sure...

Have to agree with you there Duzzer, although Humey if given a proper chance will also prove to be an excellent signing.

Welcome.

It is too early to say about the fryatt siging yet IMO. We were all excited about the Hume signing and thus far it hasnt turned out (in terms of goals scored) that much better than most of his signings.

I also agree with Duzzer that Paddy Mac has been our best siging and I think that I said earlier in the season that he would be our most consistant player by the end of the season.

You mean that it's the last one that he will make before he leaves? How Freudian!

welcome to TB dangeruss...
fryatt? let's wait until he scores, eh?
Ryan smith....although a loanee a top signing. if indeed CL had anything to do with it...

CL has indeed brought down the average age of the squad (which needed doing) but you dont need football knowledge to do that

McCarthy, Gerrbrand Hume and hopefully Fryatt are good and will be here long after he's gone and will all serve us well.

It would take longer to type his bad signings!!!

Id go Mc Carthy as tops.

thanks for the warm welcome!!!

I also hope most of our new signings hang around to let them get a bit of pride when playing for the club. Unless the players on the pitch are from the acadamy set up, then IMO the only way they will play with the passion the lcfc fans demand, is to have been here a good few seasons and establish themselves as LCFC players

Welcome dangeruss

IMO its got to be Gerrbrand.
Paddy McCarthy is too hot headed for my liking. Its not passion its stupidity, but I have seen changes in his attitude recently though, and he seems to think before acting. Still one of the better signings though

He's made some good signings, Maybury, McCarthy, Hughes and Gerrbrand are the ones that spring to mind. Equally he's made some serious errors of judgement. Kisnorbo and Hamill amongst the worst. After managering him at Hearts i do not have the foggiest what made him bring Kisnorbo here, what the hell does he see in this player?!

welcome dangeruss

he has made some great signings, paddy, gerrbrand, hughes, hume, and smith on loan are all good players,

unfortunatley i am unsure wether he is able to motivate them on the pitch

Welcome Dangeruss...

In my order of preference:

McCarthy
Hughes
Gerrbrand
Smith
Hume
Hammond

All the other's i would group together in the 'reckon they're great when playing at full potential'.

I think his best signing is Hughes.

Gerrbrand, McCarthy,Hughes, Hume ,Fryatt all have potential to be good/great players - the rest so-so or poor...key with Levein as always can he motivate etc etc..
He could be leaving us a decent legacy....
