Coalville Town Barmy Army!

Hey everyone, I've just returned back to Sheffield after a cracking weekend thanks to the lads of Coalville Town Football Club. Quite a few things about the game:

First word has to go to the players out on the pitch, it has to be one of the most gutsy hardworking performances I have ever seen on a football pitch. It was an absolute delight to watch, and they did the town of Coalville and the county of Leicestershire proud.

Secondly, the Coalville fans turned up in numbers and I'm willing to bet there were as many Coalville fans there if not more than Wycombe fans. The travelling support was unbelieveable, not stop singing and support for the lads from start to finish even after the goal. Special mention has to go out to the guy with the miners helmet with an interactive raven on top and the guy with the big t*ts! Every song you can imagine came out, and it was quite clear that a lot of Leicester fans had made the journey. The giveaway was when "When you're smiling" broke out!

Overall I have to say it was one of the best days out I have ever had at a football match possibly only with the exception of the Wembley final against Tranmere and certainly a day I will never forget. Well done to the Ravens, We're Proud Of You!

my dad made the trip with some mates and he reckons it was a great day for coalville. in the pub for 11, down to the game and back in the pub with a load of other coalville fans after the game. what a shame it had to end then. at least hinks are in the next round.
