they had an offer on last year 1 free download from mycokemusic.com with every purchase, so I went through the bins in work everyday collecting all the empty bottles & cans. Managed to get hundreds of them, only downside is the DRM on the tracks.

It means you can't copy them to another PC or onto CD. Not using the normal methods anyway.

For example I used it to convert the ricky gervais podcasts from some weird itunes format into mp3.

All programs like that do is take the sound output from the soundcard, and record it as standard audio. You can do the same thing by playing the file back, and at the same time record it using windows sound recorder.

You can indeed, although I find I get less feedback and clicks using other software.

I never rob from the Music industry. Most of the artists I buy need my money to keep the labels going.

Look at Hope Of The States, recently split, due to pressure of the record label wanting a hit.
