Logan Keeps His Place

City boss Rob Kelly makes seven changes to the side that gained victory over Hereford in midweek for the Championship clash against Colchester United at the Walkers Stadium.

In come Darren Kenton, Paddy McCarthy, Nils-Eric Johansson, Stephen Hughes, Andy Johnson, Matty Fryatt and Chris O'Grady for Richard Stearman, Patrick Kisnorbo, Alan Maybury, Josh Low, Danny Tiatto, Elvis Hammond and Iain Hume.

Conrad Logan keeps his place in goal after a fine display between the sticks at Edgar Street on Tuesday night, while Hughes has recovered from a dead leg and looks set to play on the right-hand side of the Leicester midfield.

The Foxes failed in their bid to have Kisnorbo's red card overturned from the Hereford game, and the defender therefore sits out the match through suspension.

Kelly's side takes up a similar look to that which gained a 1-1 draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light last weekend - with Logan and McAuley the only changes from that line up.

City: Logan, Kenton, McAuley, McCarthy, Johansson, Hughes, Wesolowski, Johnson, Porter, Fryatt, O'Grady.
Subs: Henderson, Stearman, Tiatto, Hume, Low.

Must bet he shortest thread for a Match ever..finished 0-0 if anybody is interested:)

Other than Conrad Logans performance, anybody who sees positives from this team and the performance after today needs shooting

Rubbish

3 substitutions all like for like, ridiculous. Change the formation, do something FFS. I've had enough

Was that bored at the game me and A-Z were celebrity spotting in the West Stand:

Muzzy Izzet
Steve Lynex
Frank Clarke
Stuart Broad
Milan Mandaric (x15)

Kenton and Johnson need a fecking wake up call.

Rk's tactics were crap, my Dad said at half-time its not working.

My Dad in 40 years of watching reckons its the worse City team ever. Today was the worst match I ever seen.

Listening to RK on radio and it reminded me of CL. He seemed very subdued and kept saying that we have to work with what we have got. Theres not 2 pennies to rub together and its down to them to improve the players that in general form a very young team. Quite frankly i was very disapointed with this result today, and was hoping he'd give me a lift by being positive, but by the tone of his voice he sounded like a desperate man. I'm struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel at the mo:icon_sad: .
I honestly believe that we could play 3rd division football next season, and i can't see any obvious answers to the problems. This is not based on what happened today but the stark facts.

Home games against Burnley, Hull City, and Colchester only yielding 1pt.

If you take away the Ipswich game we have scored just 2 goals in 8 lge games.

Only 1 goal this season for our main striker

Wouldn't be surprised if Kelly 'walked' if it gets too much.

He never saw a McLintock team then eh?...................:102:

Yes I saw the McLintock and this was'nt far off them times
absolute utter garbage, and the management team had'nt got a clue how to turn it round either.
You would have thought that a system change may have been in order......but we clutch at straws, do'nt lose seems the order of the day and b**locks to the spectators,we have a static midfield, so theres no outlet to the front, we play one wide man who more often than not wanders in field too much, no width whatsoever, a cluttered central midfield with players getting in the way of each other
we have two choices at the moment bob hope and no hope.
Try playing HUME in a space just behind the strikers to link with midfield he's got pace and is a willing runner with some vision playing through balls to the feet of the front two with an added option that he may well get goals from that position as well.
If not try something different for gods sake.

Thought Paddy and Stearman played well. Other than that :102:
