TBH, I didn't expect to be spot on. If the attendance is 20,001 I will be very close. I'm expecting a lot of people to not turn up

I think the attendance figure is tickets issued not those that actually turn up.

Sorry, I worded that wrong. I meant to say that I thought it was clicks on the turnstlye and that I didn't realize it was ticket sales.

I thought you were correct Melton - many games at premiership grounds are shown as "sold out" each week, yet the attendance figures never equal the ground capacity, and vary from week to week (so it's not just the effect of different segregation arrangements).

I enquired about this at Filbo some years back and was told it was due to Season Ticket "no shows".
