do a could for us jobDespite having a backwards name, do you think he'll be a good player for us?
do a could for us job
He would be very good IMO, although his work ethic might be a problem
Do you think he is just a MDV replacement, another excuse to hoof it up the pitch?
Weve already got a lazy striker in DJ
Stick with Fryatt and Hume IMO
Lazy he is not, he will run and run. But needs accurate service - through balls running just ahead of him.
His problems started when he was used as a lone striker with the "He's a big lad, hoof it at his head from 60 yards" philosophy. I'd say his ability in that department is a couple of percentage points ahead of MDV.
The Fulham crowd started to get on his back & his confidence went leading to several Elvis-like misses / falling over the ball etc.
His best performances & most of his goals have come when on as a second half sub, running at tired defences.
At the end of the loan period (if there is one), perhaps we could fool Fulham by keeping Collins John and sending back Elvis Hammond.
He is due to be burnt before Christmas. Check the rota.
He won't be our first player with his name the wrong way round.
Remember Stewart Jordan?
Didn't this guy score his first premiership goals against us? Random I know.. just seems to ring a bell
