Yeah, but Macky, it's only ****ing local radio, how could you expect quality commentating when the BBC will employ any sort of prick who can assemble anything resembling a legible stream of Englishish words. What do you expect 5 ****ing Live?

I expect something resembling what is actually happening on the frigging pitch, is that really too much to ****ing ask? A detailed description of a crisp packet blowing in the wind in your line of sight was the point that I decided I'm spunking my money down the ****ing drain as it goes. I thought I'd try this on today's early kick-offs to see how well it works.

There's no commentary available for the Leeds v Huddersfield game. Leeds aren't part of the Player network, but Huddersfield are.

There is commentary on the Charlton v Millwall match, but only the Charlton commentary, you can't choose the Millwall version.


So it looks like it's set up to use the home team's commentary only, and if the home team isn't part of player, there's no commentary.

The Charlton commentary didn't start until the second minute of the match, it looks like they only add it once the text commentary starts. So no pre-match build up.
