Does anyone know of a reader out there that will enable me to look at dxf files without having to add autocad or similar to my laptop?

Trueviewer is made by Autodesk who make AutoCAD. Its a free download viewer that allows you to make dimensional enquiries as well as convert drawing formats. There is a 2009 version available somewhere too!

This is the free program we use for that. We used to pay for an Adobe version till we found this, it doesn't even put ads or watermarks on the drawings.
