Danny Murphy always gets me. The idea that just because we aren't currently in the relegation zone everything must be dandy is getting right on my wick.

We've won two games, and **** me were they both lucky wins or what. The way we have played we deserve to be rock bottom.

I have managed to entirely avoid it I think. I don’t recollect a single occasion where I have listened to it. I may be wrong or I may just be imagining Bob Mortimer’s pisstake of it to be reality.
 
I’d take Bob Mortimer as our manager just for the comedy value

I got laughed at when I suggested one of the reasons people didn’t take to him from the beginning is because of the way he looked, and many of you are just proving that right. I’m sure some bright spark will pipe up to claim it’s only happening because of what I said back then, but deep down they know that’s bollocks.

Of course it’s in part about the way he looks. Ugly ****ers have to work harder for everything.

Have seen people accidentally opening up a bit too much over the net effectively confessing (without realising it) their reasons for wanting Cooper gone weren't rationale, but dare to call any of them out the denial will remain strong, I guess need to look forward now, but I did back Cooper as I did all of our previous managers at the start of their reigns, I felt the treatment of him from the fan base was unacceptable.

When you say many, do you mean none? The fact people didn't take to Cooper is because, over the course of the 15 games he had here, he proved to be shit. His looks had nothing to do with it. I can't believe anyone would truly believe that. Personally, I was happy when we got Cooper and wanted him to succeed, I like the guy, he's genuine, down to earth, and seems a nice guy. His limited managerial prowess was the reason I'm glad we've explored other options.

Not sure if you deliberately misread my post but I mentioned at the beginning, not over 15 games.

Just look back at the threads when he was rumoured to be joining, and then announced that he was joining…you’ll see quite a few mentions about his looks.

I can’t believe you don’t think as a society we’re not generally prejudiced against ugly people. I’m sure it’s purely coincidental how many seem excited by a sharply dressed and decent looking RvN, despite having achieved nothing so far in his managerial career.

He’s gone now, so we no longer need to discuss this, but I just find the comments and photos like Funky Fox posted incredibly distasteful.
