I have seen them play Wrexham and Sheff Wed this season and get battered twice I still cant believe we couldnt beat them.
Still we have another chance and its 2 games in a week for me on my doorstep (including Preston), so a rare "treat" if we had a decent team!

The possitive thing from the match is the fact that city came out at half time and had a bit of passion. ok it took them 20 min to turn that into football. But the last 15 minutes was good football from city and we where all over them.
This is the start of the future

I agree Step, I dont think we were anywhere near as bad as some made out, we switched off for both there goals, and too be fair we did play some decent stuff. But we are hampered by the number of players we are stuck with for know and by the fact CL can't bring anymore in at present.

Clearly Scowcroft, Pressman, Makin, Gemmill and possibly even Keown and Dabizas should be allowed to move on. They know they are not in CL's long term plans and in the case of Makin, Gemmill and Pressman they are crap. But in general there does appear to be a little more of the old Leicester Spirit returning. The new players will be decent signings and also Jordy, Williams, Connolly, Dublin and Gudjonnsson appear to be buying into CL way of playing. Add that to the returns of Tiatto, Gillespie and either Walker or Taylor and the future is starting to look a lot brighter.

The last 25 minutes we looked bright, inventive and played with a lot more energy and commitment.

BTW first goal was handball

....and Blackpools first goal came from a freekick that should never have been. The linesman was right at the side of Makin and even though he signaled a throw in the ref awarded a freekick, it was a good tackle and should never have been a freekick.
How many goals come from disputed free kicks or throw ins????

Bring on video refs and quick.

The money I could have saved on a trip to Blackpool.

Sorry but from where I was sitting the Ref was right and Makin was stupid... he pulled the player's sleve after he'd gone past him.

It also helps when Dion twat Dublin doesn't present the opposition with the ball on the edge of the area...

Hey EMC I thought you were sat behind the dugout in the West Stand. You must have great eyesight as the alledged offence was on the touchline east stand side. Makin was literally 20 feet from us and no way was it a foul. There again I havn't had carrots for weeks

I was sat in the kop and Makin clearly pulled the lad back, it was a cast iron free kick, yet another daft foul given away in a dangerous area when will the likes of Dabizas, Makin and Gudjonsson ever learn.

Credit to Keigan Parker though it was a fantastic delivery into the box.

What was positive was on RL after the match, CL admitted the defence had been too deep for the free kick and it meant that Pieman was trapped on his line. It was good to see the manager identifing errors in a constructive manner.
