Directions & Parking:

Approx 25 miles - 40 minutes

M69 > M6 ....

Join M6 at J2, and head north. Leave the M6 at J3, and join the A444 towards Coventry. The ground will be on your left hand side as you approach the Rowleys Green roundabout.

A few official car parks dotted around the ground at £5 per car. You can also park at Lesure Ireland again for £5 per car. Approx 200 spaces on offer. Leave M6 at J3, take first exit (B4113) and follow to Longford Road roundabout, Leisure Ireland car park is on your right hand side.

Trains:

An off peak day return is £8.40. The service is hourly from Leicester at 49 mins past the hour and includes a change at Nuneaton.

The station is over 3 miles from the ground. A shuttle bus operates every 10 minutes from The Pool Meadow Bus Station. Upon arrival at Coventry Train Station you need to ask for a 'Football Special' bus ticket at the cost of £3.50 (exact fares only) - You can get on virtually any bus from the Train Station, which will take you to the above mentioned Bus Station. Here there are the 'Football Special' buses (service 101) which depart every 10 minutes.

Pubs:

A few pubs on Longford Road, however due to previous trouble and the early kick off time, I doubt you'l get a pre match beer anywhere near the stadium. For the 'breakfast drinkers' Wetherspoons in Nuneaton could be an option.

I'm hoping a phone call to our favourite pub in Cov will produce a favourable response and an early start.:thumbs_up

Any chance of becoming an honourary member of the LB for the morning Real?
Unfortunately we are now getting a later train in from London and will only have time for a very very quick pint before bussing it to the ground. Will probably try a pub near the station, as for the name of it try thinking George Stephenson.:icon_wink

Cheers Real :icon_wink, think we will be around Bedworth, as one of our group lives there.

The online ticket thing is utter, utter shite

It's never not worked for me. Maybe it's your browser? :icon_wink
I've not used it for away tickets though, I think they only started selling them online this season.

:icon_lol: It never ever recognises my client ref. I give up after that.

Where can we have a drink before the game then? I had a pint in the ground last year, but when do they open the bars in there?

I would guess in the ground about 11.30. Before the game it's gonna be difficult, me and some friends hope to get a quick pint in town before the game and then having a few more leisurely ones afterwards.

Well that's rubbish. If you read CCFC Os, it says we have taken 5,000 tickets. I suspect the fact that 'sold' and 'taken' are two different words with different meanings is rather difficult for a person of Coventry origin to grasp.
