looking at the hearts forums,some leicester fans have been questioning what sort of style we will play.

from what i gather,generally he is very defensive minded tactician,who plays direct football.

now if we get him or not,is this the way to go.

under adams,the majority of fans lost patience with his style,and to me it looks obvious bertie has something to do with levein position.

if he comes,i will back him 100%,but if its true about the direct football,i will be very dissapointed,dont the board ever listen

Maybe with the players he's got that's the only style he can play. If it gets results I don't really mind, I wouldn't have minded Micky staying if we were getting results.

A few things I've heard about him that I like are his discipline (who needs it more than us?), his passion, his willingness to use youth players and his tactics (reading the game-wise). Plus MON recommended him.

To be fair was that not the way we played under O'Neill as well. But be fair to Levein it may be that with the players available to him that is the best style of play that suits. Given a more talented squad of players like we have at Leicester it may be that he will play passing football. You can only work with whatever raw materials you have available. I think we should wait and see.

Besides the problem with Micky was that we werent winning football matches, Levein can play whatever tactics he wants if it means we get promoted and are successful.

Lets be paitent and get behind him I think we may well be pleasantly surprised.

I don't think you should worry about getting another Micky Adams, theres only one! And we should not forget what he did for Leicester. On another note, direct football doesn't always have to mean root one hoof ball, I reckon we could do well under this guy if he comes...get back a bit of the spirit and pride that I remeber City being famous for.
