Directions & Parking:

Approx 135 miles - 3 hours

M1 > M25 >
Leave the M25 at Junction 10 and follow the A3 towards London. After about ten miles you will reach the Tolworth roundabout at which you turn right onto the A240 towards Epsom. After about three miles turn onto the A232 towards Sutton. Follow the A232 through Sutton and Carshalton and just before reaching Croydon, turn left onto the A23 north towards Thornton Heath'. Where the A23 bears left at Thornton Heath (at the Horsehoe pub roundabout). Here you must go straight over, into Brigstock Road (B266), passing Thornton Heath Station on your left and bearing right on to the High Street. At the next mini roundabout, (Whitehorse Road/Grange Road) go left into Whitehorse Lane. The ground is on your right.

Most of the street parking is for resident permit holders. There are some streets with pay & display parking, however this is normally for a maximum of 4 hours. Please take note of any signs that may say otherw*s*!

Trains

The closest stations to the ground are Selhurst, Norwood Junction and Thornton Heath. I've always found Norwood Junction to be the most convenient, it's around 10 minutes walk from the away end.

Standard aldult walk up fare is £49.20. There are some advance purchase single tickets available for £21 each way.

Pubs:

The Railway Telegraph, 19 Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath, CR7 7JJ is a firm favourite with the London Branch.

There are also Wetherspoons outlets at:

For Norwood Junction, The William Stanley (Wetherspoons), 7–8 High Street, South Norwood, London, SE25 6EP

For Thornton Heath, Wetherspoons, 2–4 Ambassador House, Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath, Surrey, CR7 7JG

I would be most surprised if you turned up at the ticket office waving £25 in their faces and were not offered a ticket in the away section in return.

Edit - Oops - just seen Jeff's post in the other thread.

Thank feck that in our relegation season they were selling on the door. After my realisation that I had **** all tickets with me when we got as far as Kings Cross :081:

Anyways, the pubs down that neck of the wood are very welcoming from memory. Usually a good day out

Tickets got sent out on Monday and they still aren't here yet, jokers.

I still haven't got my ticket for the league trip to Cardiff last season.

No one got those tickets, mostly because that game never happened :069:
