John Curtis is being linked with a switch to Ninian Park

The 26-year-old former Manchester United youngster is without a club after being released by Nottingham Forest at the end of last season and with Bluebirds boss Dave Jones looking for new defenders may fit the bill.

Derby and Plymouth are also said to be keen on a deal for Curtis who has played for a number of Premiership and Championship clubs since leaving Old Trafford.
