David Wilson is looking to retire so his company is up for sale. The current bid of £23 cash per share would value David Wilson's holding at about £700 million. Does he hate us/LCFC/local community that much, he could not bung a few million our way, or is he totally disinterested in football?

Hasn't he already got 150,000 quids worth?

I think he's more interested in cricket ( Derbyshire I believe ) and rugby. Also he might see the stick the current board are getting and opt for a quite life - I would.

He's been asked numerous times over the years and not been interested in contributing other than at Admin as a gesture of local support not because he likes LCFC enough to provide cash for the club like a Walker or Madjeski.

Why should he? Why not pass some of your savings over too....:icon_roll

Apparantly he is very tight! As he is a very successful businessman why would he want to invest in something he is almost guaranteed to lose money on! ( As he has with his current sharholding.) To be honest I don't blame him.

Just because he is retiring does not mean he cannot give us some of his money - he does not have to be Chairman or CEO. He can just put one of his family on the board and treat the club as a hobby - everyone else does!

 He hasn't became a succesful business man by donating money and letting a family member oversee it in the hope he gets a return.

I understand your point and that he could just be a major shareholder, but as he is already in that position and seen £150,000 pissed up the wall, I doubt he'd put any more in
