Leicester City 2-1 Hereford United
28 December 2008

On loan midfielder Mark Davies continued to make a good first impression with the City fans by claiming his first man of the match award in City's 2-1 win against Hereford United at the Walkers Stadium. Davies along with Steve Howard, Matt Oakley and Andy King comfortably outshone their team-mates with goals from Howard and King no doubt helping their cause.

David Martin will be relieved not to be voted as the flop for the fourth consecutive game with the unwanted title going to Paul Dickov. The veteran's half of football did not impress the City fans. Lloyd Dyer and David Martin will no doubt also be disappointed to once again find themselves in the bottom three.
