Delay over new City boss

There will be a delay in the announcement of Leicester City's new manager.

It had been thought that the new boss would be unveiled tomorrow.

But a statement from the club this afternoon said that interviews were still taking place and that chairman Milan Mandaric hoped to make the appointment “by the end of the week.”


Well, what a surprise, i would imagine that whoever was second choice is now either stalling or has knocked back MM's offer.

Who the hell are we going to end up with?

I know nothing more than if it was definitely Greggs or Pearson then perhaps there wouldn't be a delay?

IMO this may be good news...

I really hope that you are correct and that I am just being negative but, on the back of announcements such as;
"We are disappointed that Ince is not available, but we have four other excellent candidates and, one of the three will make an ideal manager: we are convinced that they would both be fantastic and we know that he will .... what's that you say? ..... oh, s**t!
The candidates are so good, that it will take us a bit longer to find, er decide."
I am deeply sceptical!
