Re: City v Derby moved to Friday night for Sky overlords

And the Leeds away game on 18th Jan is now a 12.15 kick off and (yes, you've guessed it) live on Murdoch TV

Good stuff, we're hardly ever on the box so this is a great move for fans.

I hope it means Leeds reducing ticket prices for it. It's one I've yet to tick off but the ticket prices are normally obscene.
Always horrendous pricing there. I think it was 15 when we drew them in the League Cup a few years ago but other than that it's been ridiculous. 27 quid in Division Three! Wait until Ken Bates dies, it might get better.

Edit: Except he already left, didn't he? Erm...

Talking of ridiculously priced tickets, Ipswich and Brighton are £32 and £32.50 respectively for adult tickets.

Do Ipswich still only allow concession prices in one tier but not the other? Or did I imagine that?

They do (or something of that ilk); but you have to shift around 2,000 tickets for those prices to go on sale. The irony is that Ipswich's away end is one of the most ancient left in the division.

Brighton can f**k off with that.
