hmmm

now previously, i have been able to figure out how to change my background pic

but this time it seems the whole company has the same one...

any clues how i can havea crack at it?

Ive battled with this quite a bit recently too. Ive found deleting the background pic assigned by the company and then renaming the one you actually want to use as the assigned was named works for the day but then get overwritten the next time you logon. Must be running a script of some sort.

Looks a useful site but my guess is they will have restricted the reg editor too but will check mine tomorrow
 
Ive found deleting the background pic assigned by the company and then renaming

that used to work but if i go desktop>properties>Desktop

the picture is there, but the drop down isn't activated and neither is the browse or position controls

i don't have admin rights on the PC either :(

:Locate the actual backdrop locally and then rename the file you want to use as the same and overwrite it! dont use the desktop properties at all.

Can you browse to where the picture is located using Win Explorer?
Then paste in your own picture, but with the same file name.
 
Have you tried opening other programmes and doing some fcuking work so that you can't see the desktop backtop?
