Listening to 106 Century FM tonight and Birch said that he saw Dion leaving the training facility today with a large bag of things...apparently he is currently talking to Micky.

If this is true I fear for our back line...we will be very short of cover and I am not ready to place my faith in Heath and Dabizas. We need Centre backs....NOW :-(

CL knows what his doing. ;-)

I think CL has decided our chance of making the play offs are so slim he's preparing for next season, by getting rid of the players who aren't in his future plans.

Getting rid of the likes of Scowcroft, Makin, Dublin now, it will give us more money to spend on replacements, so it's worth doing for the future, even if it means we're short of players for the rest of this season. CL may already have players ready to come in to replace them this season anyway.

The rest of this season is an ideal chance to bring some of the kids into the squad, in a no pressure situation - something we've not been able to do for several years.

As each one of these 'has beens' leaves the Wlakers revolving door I become more excited and optomistic for the future - long may it continue.

I totally agree. any luck with a few quality additions we could be a good bet for next season, and at a good price. i don't want to get to carried away but i think he's definately taking us foreward.

I said to a lot of peoplk back in august that i think 2 years in the coke league will do us good. and i think it will, at least we can get a team gelled together before falling out of the prem yet again with a whole new side of has beens.

these are the players we all were dying to leave the club...scrowie makin and dublin...its good they left..now we can bring in another 2 -3 faces that are younger and more talented then they were..its jus started under CL...the break he was lookin for at city...

Me to,

I think, CL knows there is little cvhance of going up this season and he also knows that to bring in a whole squad of new player in, between seasons is an effing stupid thing to do. (MA, watch and learn) so he is gradually bringing in his players allowing them to gel, all in preperation for the bit battle next season.

Just to back up Silver's story, my mate rang to say down at the training ground Dion is'nt there and word was he was at Cov talking to MA. :smt023

I can tell you all that Dublin didn't drive away from training today but was picked up by a woman in some kind of people carrier. It didn't look like he'd got all of his belongings with him or anything like that though. His normal car is an Aston Martin reg plate something like 'D9 DUB' as far as I can remember.

Maybe it takes more than one day to shift his stuff.

I agree with you on the first paragraph but dont forget we are still 10 points away from the bottom 3 which is closer than the play-offs (albeit a point) so i think at the moment we should stick with the strongest 11 we can put out unless things get desperate (injuries etc).

I know its highly unlikey we will go down and the same i suppose at the minute to reach the play offs but thought it was worth a mention.
