Forth sport can reveal that Hearts are set to make moves to install John Robertson as their new boss in time for Thursday's UEFA Cup match against Schalke. Craig Levein said his goodbyes to the Hearts squad at Riccarton this morning, he'll travel down to Leicester this afternoon and is set to be unveiled at the Walkers Stadium this evening. The Jambos are keen to have a new man in place as soon as possible - I believe they'll approach Caley Thistle at the beginning of next week for permission to speak to Robertson, Hearts all-time leading goalscorer. Meanwhile Anatoly Byshovets is not in the running to replace Craig Levein, he's not interested in taking charge at Tynecastle on a full-time basis and will take up the position of European scout when Vladimir Romanov eventually takes over. In the meantime, Hearts reserve team coach John McGlynn is set to pick the team for tomorrow's match against Dundee.
