Their is only 2 acts their that I'd bother watching.

Pile of shit.

Linkin Park and I don't really like them anymore.

I usually go.

If I go I'm only going on the Sunday to see Iron Maiden. I really want to see Motley Crue, Slayer and Marilyn Manson again. I would also like to see Killswitch Engage and Velvet Revolver as these are two good bands that I've never seen.

However, the problem with modern day festivals is that they mix the genres. Older festivals used to keep the same genres on the same day, now it all seems to be about selling whole weekend tickets and that doesn't appeal to me.

The bands I have named above would appeal to the same type of people, but I can guarantee Download will mix three bands up across the 3 days.

In which case I'm probably not interested, I'm also going to see the Manics on the Friday and I don't want to keep pushing my kids onto babysitters

Didn't they last year have The Prodigy on the same time as some big rawk band, and it created a massive riot.

Seems to me the same applies here, they have bands for the kids, hard rock and then more mainstream stuff like Wolfmother.

Wolfmother aren't that mainstream. I can't recall ever listening to any of their songs on the radio, and we have radio one on all the time at work

I'd say so appearances at Reading and Leeds Festivals, songs used on television adverts, 25th in Album Charts, a single what reached 31 in UK Single Charts and a nomination for International Breakthrough Band 2007 at the Brit Awards.

Are there any tickets left for this?

I know someone who might be selling a weekend ticket, but I wont see him till this weekend. Ill ask him.
