Shall I get rid of it?

Since I opened it the week before last I'm the only person to upload anything - and the last thing I uploaded has only been downloaded by three people, so it hardly seems worth keeping it.

I tried to upload some Vega4 tracks, but all my files are too large, couldn't be bothered to find any software to shrink them

The file size limit is (I think) 5MB, I don't think I can make it any bigger than that due to the limitations of the software, but it should be enough for most tracks.

I rip my CD's in 320 so the files are too large. I could re rip it at 128, that should be plenty good enough.

Please don't remove the section, it could be a very good tool

When you attach the mp.3 to the post. It took a time for it to upload to my allowance of attachment.

Uploading always takes longer than downloading, it's the way connections to the internet work.
If you have broadband it would normally take around 2 minutes to upload an average sized mp3 file.

I'll bear that in mind, next time I attempt it.

Isnt't there some fact that average human ears are incapable of detecting the difference above 128kbs, unless you are musically trained?

i don't really have any music that qualifies, (not famous - unless Rush qualify?) to share, but i think its an excelent way to find new music. please keep it. and for those with broader collections of music, please share.
