The London Branch will be drinking in Whitelocks, Turks Head Yard, LS1 6HB ( off Briggate ) before the match. Dates from 1715, so Paul Taylor may have drunk there on its opening night

apparently dry salters is ok for away fans which is about 10 minutes walk not sure if i went there last season

There's a very efficient bus service from near the station before & after the game, enabling a few beers to be supped in the City centre.

I detect a succint difference in the relative needs of those who travel by train in comparison with those who use transport (private car/ Fox Travel) which deposits them near the ground.

Or perhaps it's only accountants who can afford to spend other people's money to drink in the city centre [thought I'd just include that bit to save Highland the bother when he finally gets home!]
