Leicester City can confirm that defender Elliott Moore has joined League 1 side Oxford United on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old defender came through Leicester City’s Academy before spending the last two seasons gaining experience on loan with Belgian side Oud-Heverlee Leuven in the Proximus League.
Moore, who captained OH Leuven and earned a reputation as a commanding figure in central defence during his time in Belgium, will now link up with Karl Robinson’s Oxford United squad ahead of their upcoming League 1 campaign.
At Leicester City, Moore was part of the Under-18s side that reached the FA Youth Cup semi-finals as well as being recognised at both Under-18s and Under-20s levels with England.
The 6ft 5ins defender will be in line to make his debut for Oxford in their season opener away at Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
The Football Club would like to wish Elliott the very best in his future career.
