From what i have seen from his sub appearences so far Hammond looks a good player, with speed, strength and the ability to shoot.

What are the chances of us getting him full time?,
Whats his history?,
Are fulham likely to sell him and for how much?

If we do want to take him permanently, I wouldn't be suprised if Fulham let him go for free. 24 and never had a chance for them, and not done well on loan anywhere else. If he does do amazingly well for us, they might decide they'd rather keep him, but I doubt it..

he scored against us so he must therefore be the best player in the world!!:icon_lol:

With how our defence played in the 1st half, anybody would have looked good today. But credit to the lads they got it back and maybe should have won.As for Elvis he looked good today after a nervy start, should have scored in the 1st half, but unlucky in the 2nd when he hit the post. The lad ran his sock,s off.I for one would love to see him stay here. He would only get better the more games he plays. And boy he is fast.

I was impressed with his work rate, he should of scored though, had 2 great chances in the first half, though to be fair he made them himself. He will improve with more games.

Elvis looked extremely lively and a real handful, his finishing in the first half was pretty average as he snatched at a couple of very good chances, but the more he got into the game the more his confidence grew and in the second half was very unlucky not to have scored. Overall a very promising full debut.

Iwould hope we have already agreed a fee with Fulham should we wish to buy him in January, as a few more good performances will either put his price up or alert other clubs(hope we have learned from the experience of the Bent loan deal)

Varny is a bit of a local boy too, i believe he is from Quorn and Crewe signed him from shepshed dynamo. I wait to be corrected though. :icon_eek:

Varney is a Leics fan and he did play for coalville previously.

No! a genuine point, he didn't celebarte the goal, which I was pleased about knowing he was a city fan.

On a slightly seperate point, I wouldn't be at all disappointed to see us sign Mr Varney.
