Grr, so frustrating, our bowling is coming together but our batting is deteriorating. we don't really have any prolific one day batsmen now that KP is out of the team.

Duff decision today apparently. However you are right. It's not as if he's not had the chances to bu8ild an innings. The Times said yesterday that, for all that he adds to the team spirit, if Read had the record Nixon's had to date he would have been under pressure.

BUT - it would be typical of the England set up to blame the continuing failure of the top order to show any sort of one-day nous or skill on the wicket-keeper coming in at Number 7!!

Thought Dalrymple should have come in ahead of Nixon today.

Things i'd like answering.
Is there any real signs of improvement
Do the players EVER learn from their mistakes
Who the feck coaches these players
Why have they been so poor for so long at the one day game
How can the ECB allow such incompetence to reign for whats seems like a never ending period
Would the Aussies put up with such prolonged failure


We are as far away now from winning the world cup as we have ever been.
Why after abject failure in previous world cups as no one stood up and said enough is enough. Surely someone as got to come in and sort out the many basic problems that England seem incapable of overcoming
