No N'Didi, Fuchs or Okazaki in the squad. Interesting.

Shakey says resting a few niggles and protecting a few players, but still picked a team to win today.

I think it's a good move. That team won't roll over for Everton but rests the majority.

It's more or less what I suggested the other day - rest the players we have capable replacements for.

I thought that Drinky has had a knock for a few months. But he's still in.

King is the weak point in an otherwise decent lineup.

I like having Albrighton, Gray and Slim in at the same time and giving Mahrez a rest.

Craig "tinkerman" Shakespeare to make it another win?

Hope we can put in a performance with this side. It will show that we really have progressed since the manager change. If we coast in to the start of the game we could be in trouble. King, Amartey and Chilwell need to really believe they can force their way in on weds and help set the tone. If Vardy is also up for it then the whole team will be. If he's got one eye on Wednesday and plays at 75% then we'll lose 3-0

I think he's bottled it with this selection.

Is the priority winning today or doing well on Wednesday? I don't mind which, but this selection doesn't support either. We've made changes which inevitably weakens our chances this afternoon. However, at the same time, several key players for Wednesday are being played, weakening them for a game in three days time.

Hopefully it won't take too much out of the team - it seems a reasonable temp at Everton (14oC) - thankfully not playing down south here, where it's like summer, 10 degrees warmer than that. COYF !

I agree.

Neither Arthur nor Martha

Bit daft, really, but hey ho
