i need some help TB Crew,

i have made a report and to fill the report i need to get the data from myphpadmin, so i need help with the coding, im already stuck on the first line, i am very poor with VB but slowly improving

i saw need to do a addin so that i can select the addin and run the report automatically

HeLP PlEaSE!!
 
yeah but the problem is if i do it in VB i can run the query through VB and the data will get into the right fields
 
your report run off SQL?

oh btw MrExcel.com is great...

i dunno much about PHP, but i assume in VBA there's a PHP library you can load in...in tools>references?

Assuming you mean phpmyadmin, not myphpadmin, do you really need to use it at all if you can use PHP?

Phpmadmin is just a tool that helps you do certain things with MySQL databases, it will let you do things like export data as a csv, but you'll have to manually run it each time.

You should be able to write a PHP script that will do the same thing automatically, and will also enable you to format the CSV in exactly the way you want it, to avoid having to do any more messing about once you've got it into Excel.
