not a fan speedway, never interested me to be honest!

It's going a similar pattern to F1, anyways. The faster are getting faster and the gap is to big making unexciting racing. One motorsport which has stopped this is Moto GP, I will take time out to watch that.

think F1 realised this and reduced the engine size this season, reintro pit stops, its a great team sport

moto gp is currently the best motor sport there is IMO. F1 is getting better, but it is stil dominated by 2/3 teams.

.

Whereas Moto GP hasn't been dominated by the same individual by the last few years. :icon_razz :096:

Still been competitive throughout the rest of the field though and he has proved that he has not dominated through being at the best manufactuer by changing to one of the worst teams and then winning the championship, he has true talent whereas schumacher has proved that you can win the title over and over be being with the best teams, id like to see him go to the current Williams team and walk away with the title.

Is it true that Valentino Rossi could be joining F1? I'm sure I read/heard it somewhere. :icon_conf

yes as I have said somewhere before he has been testing with ferrari and will make an annoucement about his future in June sometime. He was just 6/10ths (i think this is right) off schumachers time round the ferrari test track on his first ever go in schumachers car, which is pretty amazing as it is the first time he had 'raced' with down force etc.

Automatically makes him the second best in F1

no offence mate but is this meant to be sarcastic or a serious comment?

Serious!! Schumy is the best driver in F1 with Alonso and Rikkenen in hot persuit, anyone who gaets near their times in similar technology is a good driver.

right, ok well yeh your right it would make him one of the best and with him and massa at ferrari next season I think they could really challenge for the constructors, I see some potential in massa but it i feel he may never really fulfil(sp) it and be a world champion. he will always be a rubens (second string driver to a true champ, before his BAR move) for me.

Top 8 in today's Grand Prix:

1. Michael Schumacher
2. Fernando Alonso
3. Juan Pablo Montoya
4. Felipe Massa
5. Kimi Raikkonen
6. Mark Webber
7. Jenson Button
8. Giancarlo Fisichella

Jenson got a couple of points, but he needs to race a lot better if he is to have a chance of finishing the season in the Top 3, where IMO he is more than capable of finishing.

Button doesn't quite have what it takes IMO.
yeh i agree, not sure what it is and if I did Im sure i could make millions but whatever it is that moves someone on to that next step button doesnt have it whereas Alonso has always had it and took that step last season.

Grand prix racing.........yawn, yawn. This would be a fantastic sport, but where have all the exciting drivers gone. How many daring manoeuvres do you see. Mansell was never the best driver in grad prix racing but he was top quality entertaiment duelling with Ayrton Senna. Eddie Ervine would also have a go. Its like the London to Brighton rally nowadays, whoever makes it off the grid will finish in roughly the same position that they started. I would like to see the A1 concept where all the drivers compete in equal cars, albeit with the worlds best drivers competing unlike the bunch of nobodies that take part in A1.

I watched the Speedway Slovenian Grand Prix last night. If its on repeat on Sky, watch it! A fanastic GP full of passing. First four heats were crap and then it exploded into life. It was all topped off by a great battle in the Final.
