Fight wasn't just on the pitch at Millwall either.

Great assist from Jeff Schlupp to give Palace the lead against Tottering. It's 2-0 now.

When i see the teams that are left in, I can't help thinking, this was a very big opportunity missed. :(

Take away Chelsea/Man U/Man C and two of this lot will be in the semi-finals

Of course given the draw we’d have been knocked out on penalties playing a half and half team against Man C in the 5th round anyway.

Bristol City v Shrewsbury Town or Wolverhampton Wanderers
AFC Wimbledon v Millwall
Doncaster Rovers v Crystal Palace
Middlesbrough or Newport County v Manchester City
Chelsea v Manchester United
Swansea v Barnet or Brentford
Portsmouth or Queens Park Rangers v Watford
Brighton & Hove Albion or West Bromwich Albion v Derby County

At least 8 non Premier League clubs in the last 16, maybe more. It makes me sick.

Just indicative of what EPL teams and players think of the Cup, puts our Newport result well in to perspective. Modern football for ya

I already had it in perspective.

A completely unacceptable dog shit of a result.

Engineered by an unambitious ****wit of a manager.

Newport lead 1-0 against Boro early in the 2nd half in their replay

15-5 in shots. 5-0 on target. Boro can’t string two passes together. Thoroughly deserved lead with 10 mins left

Draw for the last 8

Swansea City v Manchester City
Watford v Crystal Palace
Wolves v Manchester United
Millwall v Brighton

Only two of those are going to be in the top six, might not be a good year to finish seventh anyway

If Chelsea & Arsenal finish 5th & 6th and one of them wins the Europa League and Wolves finish 7th and win the F.A. Cup.

Lots of ifs and buts, wouldn't 8th be good enough for Europe?

If English clubs gain an additional place in the Champions League by winning the Europa League they lose one of the places in the Europa League, so it's seventh or bust at the very best of times

I hope we don't get into Europe with this clown in charge.

Can you imagine his approach to the games.

Matty James and a recalled Andy King setting off on a European conquest.
