If we are dependant on one player then we've got problems. The last 3 games have been tough for different reasons, but next weeks game provides us with a chance to nearly put the relegation fears to bed.

Being without Wesolowski hasn't helped but we haven't won for three games because we just aren't very good.We will stay up because there are teams who are worse than us IMO.

As I said on another forum....

a) we should/could have beaten Derby had we converted our chances. That's got nothing to do with his absence.

b) We held a Leeds team that were 3rd in the league with 10 men for 80+ minutes. Good result

Yes Ipswich was disappointing, but did you expect us to win every game for the rest of the season?

Absolutely spot on Babylon, FFS people we have lost one game in the last 6, however it will be interesting to see how the management and players react to this setback, will be a decent test of Kellys' credentials, as to whether he is capable of taking the job full time in the summer.

Let me explain I agree completely with Babylon's analysis about the 3 matches. Weso's injury is a setback, but shouldn't influence what division we'll be in next year.

I only brought the fact up because it came to mind, and wondered if he'd been missed at all.

I still think HF is about right.

We have had poor results now for several seasons and that's because we have had pretty ordinary players by Leicester's standards. A retrospective subject thread on the Canero/ Makin subject just reminds one of how poor we have been for a long time now.

That statement takes nothing away from the efforts of RK and co. to draw the club away from the unwarrented danger of relegation caused by the previous seriously bad management.

However, don't let's kid ourselves....we aren't very good and we all just hoping that a group of young players turn things round asap.

Discuss!

I remember saying this was my fear before we kicked off against Derby.

There is no doubt that his performances were a major factor in changing the fortunes of the club, although others were:

- Matty sticking in chances in the 6 year box (which we hadn't done all season
- Kisnorbo in central defence, altho you could argue that Weso being fit had created the option of doing this

Give it another 3 games & we will know how significant all these factors were individually

I think we are missing a midfielder of Weso's type, i.e. a competitive ball winner to provide cover to the back four. Joey can play in this role, but prefers to push forward, while Hughes and Williams are certainly not strong in the tackle.

I've never suggested otherwise!!!

we need to be realistic here, craig was under achieving but our true level isnt going unbeaten for the rest of the season kelly has a mammoth task on his hands.

But another hard fact is when he took over we was in the bottom 3, now we have a small cushion.

Saturday will really demonstrate how far we have or havent moved on under Kelly, it is a very winnable game and an opportunity to put further daylight between ourselves and the relegation places, but we will be missing key players like Weso and McCarthy, and it is important that we show we can bounce back quickly from setbacks and more importantly that the squad demonstrate it has the desire and hunger to win matches when missing 1 or 2 key players.
