Anyone on here have any trouble with them yesterday.

Anyone get caught up in the FC Betz farce yesterday.....

FCBetz the so called LCFC partner failed to pay out around 100+ supporters after the match yesterday after apparently running out of money "after the shock result" (their statement not mine). After some deliberation with FC betz senior personnel we were told basically to just claim online, my thoughts and others that surely place your bet in cash collect in cash.

I have never tried to claim winnings after the game. Done it on-line with no issues. No sure what the issue is really.

Me neither. I don't believe there is a legal requirement, or a reasonable expectancy, for a small bookies to keep thousands of pounds ready for after match collections.

How these people managed to get there to claim after the match is beyond me as well as they normally aren't there afterwards, you have to go to a sub ticket office.

I think the issues are if people bet in cash at the ground they want to be paid in cash at the ground and that if they are unable to manage their cash properly so that all ground cash betters can get paid out they should not be accepting bets. :icon_bigg

But that's not a reasonable thing to expect. And they can claim in cash, they just have to go to the sub ticket office. If I had a massive bet in a William Hill and won a Jas sized amount I wouldn't expect to be able to waltz in and pick it up cash, nor would I want to walk through town with 20k in my pocket.

hey everyone pleased to tell i i was going to send my winning slip off but didnt as would have probably been lost in post, so i have registered and im a winner of 51 squid. put 50 in my bank and lost a quid on that penalty shootout game hopefully we will have ladbrokes back next season.
