The club in this case are absolutely right to offer nothing. The "supporter" was not moved, and it sounds as though the club apologised without reservation despite having a contractual right to move the supporter for the fixtures in question. I doubt that "turmoil and upset" was really caused. They would in any event have got to see the match wherever they sat.
There are children in this world freezing and starving to death. There are children in this world who have seen their parents killed in front of them. That is turmoil.
